Stephen R. McCollum

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Stephen R. McCollum, age 62, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., died Jan. 3, 2010.

He was a native of Du Quoin Illinois, and he was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Wendling McCollum. Mr. McCollum was a member of Third Baptist Church and a graduate of MTSU. He was purchasing agent with Haynes Brothers Lumber, and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sheila Gibson McCollum; father, Harry McCollum, Sr. and brother, Harry McCollum, Jr. both of Du Quoin, Illinois; and several nephews and a niece.

Family and friends served as pallbearers. Funeral service was at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. F. Murray Mathis officiating. Burial followed in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation was from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel www.woodfinchapel.com.
