Ruth Huntington Baughman

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ruth Huntington Baughman, 77, of Albemarle, N.C. died Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 23, 2009 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, N.C.

A family memorial service will be arranged at a future date.

Mrs. Baughman was born April 1, 1932 in Du Quoin, Ill. She was a daughter of the late Russell and Bertie Siebert Huntington. She was a 1949 graduate of Du Quoin High School and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Baughman who she married Feb. 3, 1952, and a sister Gertrude Huntington Gottry.

She is survived by five children, Debrah R. Thompson and husband Jeff of Townsend, Mass., Gregg R. Baughman and wife Lillie of Costa Mesa, Calif., George S.(Stan) Baughman of Albemarle, N.C., Bud E. Baughman and wife Anita of Kernersville, N.C. and Julia A. Silverstein of Seattle, Wash., 11 grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews.
