Charles E. Pitman

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Charles E. Pitman, 46, of Tamaroa, passed away at 3:56 p.m., Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 at his residence.

Charles had been a truck driver for Beelman Trucking for 13 years.

He was born June 13, 1963 at Chicago, Ill. the son of Charles H. and Jeanetta (Harris) Pitman.

He married Cynthia Irvin on Oct. 4, 2003 at Du Quoin, Ill. and she survives.

He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia Pitman of Tamaroa, father- Charles H. Pitman of Tamaroa, mother- Jeanetta Krug and husband Karl of Pinckneyville, step mother- Peggy Pitman of Tamaroa, two daughters- Miranda Vanderweel of Belleville and Katy Pitman of Lebanon, son- Charles (Sonny) Pitman of Pinckneyville, two stepsons- Earl Partin of Steeleville and Brian Noltkamper of Belleville, three step daughters- Erin Partin of Evansville, Ind., Kelly Partin of Dowell and Kindra Carson of Pinckneyville, nine grandchildren-Noah, Tyler, Kadin, Addyson, Matthew, Drucilla, Madison, Mandy and Hunter, brother- Curtis Pitman and wife Carolyn of Scheller, sister- Lynette Eaton of Tamaroa, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents- John Harris, Maxine Rohlfs, Loyd Taylor and Becky Taylor.

Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2009 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Per Charles' request cremation rites were conducted after the visitation.

In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to his wife Cynthia and will be accepted at the funeral home.
