Frank D. Trainor

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Frank D. "Pops" Trainor, 74, of Du Quoin, went to be with the Lord at 12:40 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009 at his residence.

Frank had worked in maintenance at Coca Cola Bottling Company. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin.

He was born Nov. 24, 1934 at Centralia, Ill., the son of Harry and Ruby (Holmes) Trainor.

He is survived by one daughter - Julie Halstead and husband Mark of Du Quoin, one son - Jule Trainor of Du Quoin, faithful and caring special friend - Ermalinda Magnusson of Dowell, one brother - Harold Trainor and wife Dorothy of East Peoria, Ill., one sister - Beverly Sue Huene and husband Bud of Centralia, and three grandchildren - Jason Childers, Cassandra Halstead and Eli Halstead.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers - Charles Trainor, Bob Trainor, Delbert Trainor, and Herschel Trainor, and three sisters - Marilyn Trainor, Maxine Trainor, and Mary Trainor.

Special thank you to Roy King and Ermalinda Magnusson for taking good care of him. He was loved by all and will be missed by many.

Per Mr. Trainor's request, cremation services were held. There was no public visitation or funeral.

Friends may make memorials to VNA Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
