Esto Marie Frederick

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Esto Marie Frederick, 93, of Du Quoin, passed away at 11:45 p.m., Friday, Oct. 2, 2009 at the Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin.

Esto was a homemaker. She had also been a very popular waitress at the Southern Barbecue and Moe's Caf&#200; for many years, as well as serving as a poll worker for local elections. She was a past president and member of the Du Quoin Community Club and was a long standing and active member of the First Baptist Church of Du Quoin.

She was born Sept. 3, 1916 at Tamaroa, Ill., the daughter of James Clay and Carrie May (Stockton) Reeves.

She married Darrell Frederick on April 19, 1936. They resided in Effingham and Tamaroa before returning to Du Quoin in 1943.

She is survived by her loving husband of Du Quoin, one son - Charlie Frederick and wife Diana of Boynton Beach, Fla., two grandsons - Matthew Frederick and Benjamin Frederick and wife Shannon, all of Boynton Beach, Fla., one great grandson - Clay James Frederick of Boynton Beach, Fla., two sisters-in-law - Iris Montgomery and Beatrice Reeves, both of Du Quoin, and 16 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers - Paul Reeves and Henry Reeves and three sisters - Ruth Bookstaver, Edna Feller and Helen Rutherford.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Du Quoin with Rev. Steve Bareis officiating.

Friends called from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the church.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorials to the First Baptist Church in Du Quoin and will be accepted at the funeral home.
