Danny Charles Wildermuth

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Danny Charles Wildermuth, age 60 of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009 in St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Danny was born on July 18, 1949, in Du Quoin, Ill. a son to Louis and Mildred (Loos) Wildermuth. On Dec. 19, 1970, he married Joyce Bartle in Pinckneyville, Ill. and she survives. Danny was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. He worked construction at Baldwin Power Plant, worked for Amax and Arch Coal as a coal miner for 29 1&#8260;2 years, drove a concrete truck for Beelman Trucking and was currently working as an auditor for the State of Illinois. He was a member of Compac serving as a committeeman, member of the U.M.W.A. serving as financial secretary for 23 years, Pinckneyville High School Board for 12 years, Democratic Precinct Committeeman, Perry County Commissioner for 11 years, Perry County Housing Authority board, Western Egyptian Economic Opportunity Council, Perry County Circuit Clerk (Pinckneyville), Khoury League coach for 12 years, First National Bank of Pinckneyville board of trustees, Southern Illinois Work Force Development Board, Mason 32nd Degree, American Legion member, and the Federal Order of the Eagles. Danny was an avid hunter, outdoorsman, and loved his cattle, which he liked to refer to as his "girls". He was a loving husband, devoted father and great "pa pa".

Danny is survived by his wife: Joyce Wildermuth of Pinckneyville, Ill., mother: Mildred Wildermuth of Pinckneyville, Ill., mother-in-law: Virginia Bartle of Pinckneyville, Ill., one son: Bobby (Angela) Wildermuth of Pinckneyville, Ill., one daughter: Dee (Brian) Morgan of Pinckneyville, Ill., two brothers: Louis Wildermuth of Swanwick, Ill. and Randy (Laura) Wildermuth of New Athens, Ill., two sisters: Brenda Payne of Dallas, Tex., and Lois Wildermuth of Pinckneyville, Ill., four grandchildren: Logan and Madalyn Wildermuth and Payton and Isabella Morgan, one brother-in-law: Kliff Kline of Coulterville, Ill., one sister-in-law: June Bibby of Robinson, Ill. and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister: Marjorie Kline, father-in-law: Bob Bartle and one sister-in-law: Marge Wildermuth.

Funeral services were held at First United Methodist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jim Barnett officiating. Interment was in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
