Marvin Hertel

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Marvin "Bob" Hertel, 101, formerly of Princeton, Ind. passed away on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009 in Miamisburg, Ohio. He retired from Kings Mine after 37 years of employment. He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge #64 of Benton, Illinois for 80 years.

He was born on Nov. 8, 1907 in Worden, Illinois to Wilhem & Ida Mae (Welch) Hertel, both deceased. Also preceding him in death were his wife of 71 years, Jeannettia D. (Johnson) Hertel; son, Robert William Hertel; granddaughter and two brothers.

Bob is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Melita & Gary Minnis; six grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton, Ind. Masonic Memorial Service were held at the graveside. There was no visitation. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
