Daniel "Butch" Weaver, 61, of Chester, IL, died September 14, 2009, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, MO in the loving arms of his family.
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">The son of Ambrose O. and Luquita M. (Faverty) Weaver, he was born December 20, 1947 in Chester, IL.
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">October 12, 1968 he married Marjorie M. Reese in Chester, IL.
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">Butch was an E5 of the United States Army from 1967 to 1971. He served Randolph County and City Law Enforcement for 30 plus years, and was a member of the Randolph County Police Association. He loved to fish and camp. Butch was of the Christian Faith.
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">Survivors include his wife of Chester, IL; two daughters- Angela (Scott) Jeffers of Steeleville, IL, and Michelle (Robert) Wheat of Chester, IL; one "adopted" son, Daniel Niemeyer (RD 5 1/2) of Steeleville, IL; five grandchildren: Shawna Stanley, Kayla Jeffers, Travis Jeffers, Joshua Fortman, & Austin Wheat; two sisters-Anna Weaver (Victor Moncada) of Chester, IL, and Robin (Richard) Weaver Warren of Chatham, IL; two sister-in-laws: Marian LaChance of Hammond, IN, and Deborah (Gary) Wingfield of Atlanta, GA; two nephews-Michael Jausel & Scot (Amber) Jausel; one niece, Niki Jausel (Jason); four great nephews: James Rhoden, Tyler McConnell, Logan Jausel & Tyson Jausel; two great nieces: Elizabeth Rhoden & Joshlyn Rhoden; aunts & uncles: Donald (Pauline) Weaver of Chester, IL, Shirley Holcomb of Chester, IL, Robert (Joyce) Faverty of Chester, IL, and Yvetta Strobel of Haleyville, AL; many other beloved family & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; four aunts-Viola Knoke, Laurie Rowold, Alvina Weaver Steel, and Dorothy Weaver; and three uncles-Leonard Faverty, Charles Weaver & Elroy Weaver.
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt">Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 17, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, IL, with Rev. Phil Keeton officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Chester. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 16, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and<span> Thursday, September 17, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, IL.</span>
