Aurelia Vordtriede

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Aurelia "Rea" Vordtriede, age 98, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009 at 3:35 a.m. in Friendship Manor, Nashville, Ill.

Aurelia was born on May 7, 1911 in St. Louis, Mo. On May 25, 1944, she married Earl Louis Vordtriede in St. Louis, Mo and he preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 1982. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Pinckneyville, Ill., and Lutheran Women's Missionary League, loved playing bingo and golf, and was an avid Cardinal fan.

Survivors include two grandsons: Danny (Lynn) Vordtriede of O'Fallon, Mo. and Bradley (Julie) Vordtriede of Pinckneyville, Ill., and three great-grandchildren: Gabbi, Brittany, and Jordan Vordtriede.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: Joseph Vordtriede, daughter-in-law: Judith Ann Vordtriede, and brother: Ralph Kraemer.

Funeral services were held at the Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment wis in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Friday, August 28, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
