He was born October 26, 1961 in Perryville, MO.

Survivors include two sons-Christopher Lankford of St. Charles, MO, and Jesse Lankford of St. Charles, MO; one daughter, Lisa Lankford of Farmington, MO; three brothers-Brian Lankford of St. Charles, MO, Brad (Angela) Lankford of Chester, IL, and Steve (Sarah) Lankford of Farmington, MO; two sisters-Barbara Lankford of St. Charles, MO, and Shelly (Tim) Williford of Bismark, MO; mother, Alberta (Lawrence) Wilson of Perryville, MO; two step-brothers: Albert (Trina) Bieser of Irondale, MO, and David (Mary) Bieser of St. Mary, MO; one step-sister, Deborah Bieser of Ste. Genevieve, MO; and one grandchild, Janelle Lankford. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Lankford; and step-sister, Barbara Bieser.

Funeral services were held at the Basler Funeral Home, St. Mary, MO, on Monday, July 13, 2009 with Rev. Don Estes officiating. Burial was in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, St. Mary, MO.
