</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Audre Ann Smith, 71, of Chester, IL, died July 7, 2009 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, IL.

The daughter of Elmer G. and Paula M. (Junge) Kueker, she was born March 29, 1938 in Evansville, IL.

On September 12, 1959, she married Delano A. "Dee" Smith in Chester, IL, and he preceded her in death in 2000.

Audre was a homemaker and a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, IL. Audre, along with her husband Dee, faithfully attended the Golden Age Services at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester.

Survivors include two sons-Daniel A. (Ann) Smith of Haslett, MI and David L. (Kimberly) Smith of Sherwood, AR; one daughter, Dianna (Charlie) Johnson of Festus, MO; one sister, Dotty (Bill) Orrick of House Springs, MO; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Lane of Enfield, IL; four grandchildren-Erica Crady, Mason Smith, Meradith Smith, and Isabella Smith; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 10, 2009, at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, IL, with Rev. Martin Springer officiating. Burial was in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Chester.
