Exie Gail (Wynn) Doerr

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Exie Gail (Wynn) Doerr, 61, of Energy, passed away at 11:38 P.M., Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin.

Exie was a homemaker. She attended Bear Point Freewill Baptist Church in Sesser for many years.

She was born December 9, 1947 at Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Quinn and Flossie (Hamilton) Wynn.

She is survived by one son - Tony Doerr of Granite City, IL, one daughter - Tiffany Specht and husband Jared of Effingham, IL, three grandchildren - Tasha Doerr of Mulkeytown, Aiden and Lucas Specht of Effingham, IL, one brother - William Wynn and wife Elizabeth of Du Quoin, one sister - Janet Wagner of Du Quoin, one sister-in-law - Ruth Wynn of Pinckneyville, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Special mention to friends David Moake, Heather Richerson, Darlene McNeil and relative Corene (Hamilton) Alstat for their support during her illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother - Charles Wynn, daughter-in-law - Susan Doerr and dear friend - Steve Wiggins.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin with Bro. Larry Cook officiating.

Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
