Anna Zelasko

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Anna Zelasko, 94, of Du Bois, passed away at 12:50 A.M., Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Friendship Manor Nursing Home in Nashville, IL.

Anna was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois and was a choir member at the church. She was also a member of St. Theresa Sodality and AARP.

She was born February 9, 1915 at Washington County, IL, the daughter of Bernard and Rose (Zramkowski) Zyk.

She married Theodore Zelasko on September 25, 1934 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois and he preceded her in death on April 6, 1975.

She is survived by one daughter - Evelyn Bochantin and husband Oley of Du Bois, one son - Eugene Zelasko and wife Pat of Radom, one sister-in-law - Reginna Zyk of Nashville, eighteen grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son - Larry Zelasko, two brothers - Walter Zyk and Julius Zyk, and one sister - Helen Glazik.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 3, 2009 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M., Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M., Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial will be in the St. Charles Cemetery at Du Bois, IL.

Friends may make memorials to the St. Charles Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
