Donna L. Brown

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Donna L. Brown, 66, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 12:24 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2009 at her home.

She was born September 27, 1942 in Campbell Hill, the daughter of Albert August Vogt and Anna (Schatte) Vogt.

Donna married William Brown in October 14, 1961 in St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill. She worked as the village clerk of Campbell Hill for 25 years; she previously worked at the Jackson County Court House and as an Avon dealer for years as well as a homemaker. Donna is a lifelong member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Campbell Hill.

She is survived by her husband William Brown of Campbell Hill; children, Jeffrey and Pam Brown of Du Quoin, Jill and Craig Mueller of Murphysboro, Jason and Nancy Brown of Albion; four grandchildren, Michaela Brown, Tanner and Kaitlyn Oetjen, and Aaron Brown; step grandchildren, BJ and Toby Jones, Clay and Celci Mueller; two step great-grandchildren, Hayden Jones and Aubrey Jones; brother Robert and Faye Vogt of Campbell Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Betty Vogt.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 6 at 2 p.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill. Rev. Raymond Barclay will be officating. Burial will be at St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and then on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until noon then from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
