</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Gladys M. Kujawa, age , 96 of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2009 in Pinckneyville Health Care Center, Pinckneyville, IL.
Gladys was born on August 11, 1912 in Gage, OK, a daughter to Bert Edgar and Bessie Opal (Rall) Bridges. On August 1, 1935 she married George A. Kujawa at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL and he preceded her in death. Gladys worked for Forest City Mfg. in 1930's and for Pinckneyville Hospital as a nurses aid from 1964-1967. She also worked for many years at MCA Records as a record inspector. Gladys was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL, Catholic Daughters of America and Senior Citizens Club. She loved quilting and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include four sons: George Kujawa of Rockford, IL, Tim (Gloria) Kujawa of Canal Winchester, OH, Tony (Beth) Kujawa of Rotunda West, FL and Larry Kujawa of McAlester, OK. Eight grandchildren: Christopher (Jennifer) Kujawa, Susan (Mel) Ferlita, Dana Kujawa, Denise (Jim) Gielow, Theresa (Mike) Kelly, Tammy Kujawa, Kate Kujawa and Tim Kujawa. Nine: great-grandchildren: Alacia, Catlin and Tim Kujawa, A.J. and Andrea Barton, Garrett and Hayden Kelly, Alexis Ferlita, Sedona Rae Kujawa, and one great-great -grandchild: Kelton Douglas.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter: Patricia Kujawa, two brothers: Raymond and Wayne Bridges and two daughters in law: Alice Kujawa and Patricia Jean Kujawa.
Funeral Mass will be held in St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.
Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday morning from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
