Marcella J. Krisby

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Marcella J. Krisby, age 84, of Pinckneyville, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 3:34 a.m. in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Carbondale.

Marcella was born on December 28, 1924 in Rice a daughter to William J. and Rosa (Ritter) Kellerman. She married Max Krisby at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Sparta. He preceded her in death. Marcella attended of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville. She was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for and raising her family. After her children were raised, Marcella worked at senior citizen care facilities in both Sparta and Pinckneyville, for twenty years. She enjoyed gardening, canning, baking cookies and helping others. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

She is survived by one son: Max (Sharon) Krisby, II of Mexico, Mo., two daughters: Ann (Dennis) Haffron of Hanover Park, and Doris Wilson of Romeoville; nine grandchildren; Phillip Haffron, Jonathan Cianciarulo, Kristina, Kimberly and Patrick Wilson, David and Andrew Krisby, Kathy Lower and Becky Rose; eight great-grandchildren: Zach, Holly, Travis and Keith Haffron, Elana and Christopher Rose and Nathan and Emily Krisby; five brothers: Rudolph (Ella) Kellerman of Pinckneyville, Wilbert Kellerman of Addieville, Cecil (Pat) Kellerman of St. Genevieve, Mo., Floyd (Doretha) Kellerman of Tamaroa, and Harold (Kay) Kellerman of Pinckneyville, one sister: Bernice R. Hagene of Pinckneyville, her extended family: Marie Langa, Margie Epplin and J. Maurice (Marsha) Krisby; and numerous other nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers: Alfred and Carl Kellerman.

Funeral services will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment will be in Caledonia Cemetery, Sparta.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, on Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday, from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. The rosary will be recited on Saturday at 8:30 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, or Masses.
