Clyde F. Morgenthaler

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Clyde F. Morgenthaler, 96, of Tamaroa, passed away at 12:54 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital at Pinckneyville.

Clyde had worked as a baker at Theobald's Bakery for several years and also in Mt. Vernon at a bakery. He was of the Protestant faith.

He was born July 20, 1912 at Du Quoin, the son of William and Maude (Queen) Morgenthaler.

He married Mable Marie McGuire on August 25, 1940 at Perryville, Mo., and she survives.

He is survived by his wife of Tamaroa, one son - Clyde Dean Morgenthaler and wife Linda of Tamaroa, one daughter - Barb Yeager and husband Ray of Pinckneyville, three grandchildren - Debbie McClure and husband David of Springfield, Paula Jean Yeager of Pinckneyville, and Rick Yeager and wife Jennifer of Tamaroa, three great grandchildren - Christina McClure, Matthew McClure, and Hannah McClure, all of Springfield, and one sister - Gloria Zimmer of Kenosha, Wis.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Collin Hirsch officiating.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to the Parkinson's Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
