Mark E. Harsy

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Mark E. Harsy, age 54, of Pinckneyville, IL passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 11:27 a.m. at his home.

Mark was born on September 20, 1954 in DuQuoin, IL, a son to Edward and Patricia A. (Keene) Harsy. He had previously worked as a coal miner and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Survivors include his mother: Patricia Harsy of Pinckneyville, IL, son: Nathan Edward (Katie) Harsy of Tamaroa, IL, brother: Mitchell (Rebecca) Harsy of Vergennes, IL, two grandsons: Owen Ray Harsy and Samuel Glenn Harsy, and two nephews: Ethan Harsy and Evan Harsy.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Christopher Keene officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, DuQuoin, IL.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
