Rita E. Parker

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Rita E. Parker, age 87, of Elkville passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at10:27 p.m. at the Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin. She was born March 21, 1921 in Monomonee Falls, Wisc. to John Zimmer and Lena(Becker) Zimmer. She married Raymond Parker on February 7, 1948.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Parker of Elkville and 2 sons, Mark and Robert Parker of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling and doing volunteer work.

It was her wish to be cremated. There will be no visitation. Burial of ash's will be in the IOOF Cemetery in DuQuoin. Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort is in charge of arrangements.
