Kay was awesomely competent without being smug. She was determined without being bossy and mid-morally certain without being judgmental. She was First Lady of El Hasa Shriners in 1999, a 1000+ hour volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital, a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all.
Kay is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, James E. Boggs; one son and daughter-in-law, J. Todd and Sue Ann Boggs; grandsons, Justin and J. Wyatt Boggs; brother, Allen (Linda) Batson; and sister, Debbie Smith.
Kay was born in Du Quoin, Illinois June 29, 1938, to Jake and Clarice Fike Batson, who preceded her in death.
