Beverly Ruth Irvin

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Beverly Ruth Irvin, 66, of Du Quoin, passed away at 2:55 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.

Beverly had worked for twenty four years at Tessa Tape in Carbondale and for ten years at Gilster Mary Lee Company. She was of the Baptist faith.

Beverly was born July 14, 1942 at Alto Pass, the daughter of James H. and Lela (Wrolen) Lilley.

She married Billie D. Davis Sr. and he preceded her in death, she then married Perry Irvin and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by son- Billie D. Davis Jr. and wife Lisa of Du Quoin, daughter- Darlene Hamburger and Frank Owen III of Du Quoin, five grandchildren- Brittney Campanella, Jonathan Hamburger, Coy Davis, Joshua Hamburger and Jade Davis, all of Du Quoin, four great grandchildren, three brothers- James Lilley and wife Nancy of Romeoville, Richard Lilley and wife Shirley of Chicago, Robert Neal Gibbs of Neodesha, Kan., three sisters- Sue Loucks and husband Jack of California, Mo., Debra Wilmeno of California, Mo., Kathy Epplin and husband Steve of Du Quoin, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two sisters- Brenda Smith and Phyllis Sanders and niece- Rebecca Sanders.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Ted Clark officiating.

Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery at Alto Pass.

Friends may make memorials to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
