Patricia Joyce Hunter

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Patricia Joyce Hunter, 76, of Du Quoin, passed away at 6:54 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2009 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.

Patricia was a homemaker. She was of the Christian Faith.

She was born December 19, 1932 at Du Quoin, the daughter of McKinley and Violet (Galligher) Barnes.

She married Frankie E. Hunter on April 17, 1953 in Kentucky and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, children- Steven Allen Hunter of Du Quoin, Rickey Hunter of Du Quoin, Linda Arendell of Coulterville, Debbie Reeves and husband Chuck of Tamaroa, Aaron Hunter and wife Kelli of Marion, sister- Mildred Coffel of Du Quoin, eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother- Howard Barnes.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2009 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to the Du Quoin High School Athletic Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
