</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Sarah Katheryn Hodges, age 97, of Du Quoin, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2008 in Fair Acres Nursing Home, Du Quoin.

Katheryn was born on July 2, 1911, a daughter to William Guy and Ocie Ola (Coffel) Woodside. On April 7, 1950, she married Carl D. Hodges in Hernando, MS and he preceded her in death on April 24, 1982.

She is survived by one brother: Paul Woodside of Du Quoin. and several dear nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four brothers: Loren, Thomas, Dale and Bill Woodside.

Private graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 in Herrin City Cemetery, Herrin.

Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, is in charge of the arrangements.
