Du Quoin Eagles Kids Party

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Du Quoin Eagles Saturday hosted a party for over 500 Du Quoin-area children. The party has been a tradition since 1989 and includes gifts for every child, 500 sacks of candy, soda, chips, hot dogs and cookies for the kids. The Eagles Lodge says local businesses contribute $7,700 to the project annually. It could not be held without the support of the community. Drawings were held for 45 bicycles, televisions and Guitar Hero games. Pictured are organizers Gabe Lively, Dale See, Betty See, Carla Robertson and Denny Bloomfield.
