Bobby G. "Sputt" Spangler
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Bobby G. "Sputt" Spangler, 72, of Percy, passed away at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2008, at Memorial Hospital of Chester in Chester.
Bobby was born December 15, 1935 in Elkville, Illinois the son of Clyde Spangler and Blanch (Dean) Spangler. He married Wanda L. Jones on January 8, 1955 in the Assembly of God Church, Percy. He was a retired sales manager for Jim Walter Mobile Home in Tampa, Florida. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Tri-County First Pentecostal Church in Cutler.
Bobby is survived by his wife Wanda L. Spangler of Percy; children, Patricia Ann (Tony) Spangler-West of Stateville, and Robert Michael (Tricia) Spangler of Niles, Michigan; four grandchildren, Nicholas Butler, Nicole (Robert) Collier, Noah Butler and Caleb Spangler; and great granddaughter, Xadie Collier; and two sisters, Wilma June Bayer of Canton, Ga. and Phyllis (Roger) Welge of Chester.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, One daughter: Brenda Kay Spangler and One Brother: Eugene Spangler.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 13, at 1 p.m. at Tri-County First Pentecostal Church in Cutler with Rev. Larry Blake and Rev. Harry Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville, Saturday, December 13, 2008. Visitation will be held at Tri-County First Pentecostal Church, Cutler on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral under auspicies of Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville.
