Du Quoin Mother & Son in Weekend Christmas Performance in Marion

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Du Quoin elementary school teacher Heather Bookstaver and son Carson (right) are members of the cast of the weekend Marion Civic Center performance of "The Best Christmas Pageant EVER!" by Barbara Robinson. Heather is the wife of Steve Bookstaver of Du Quoin. She has the role of a gossipy church member and Carson, a 4th grade student in Du Quoin, has the role of a shepherd and child in Sunday school. Performances are Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6th at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday,December 7th at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 on Friday and Saturday and $8 for the Sunday matinee. Come early for caroling and a Saturday performance of the Southern Illinois Children's Choir and much more.
