Gordon N. Doerr

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Gordon N. Doerr, 59, of Vergennes, passed away at 11:25 A.M., Friday, November 14, 2008 at his residence.

Gordon had worked in construction. He was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church in Du Quoin. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 520 and UMW of A.

He was born May 9, 1949 at Murphysboro, IL.

He married Vicki L. McMurray on June 9, 1967 at Elkville, IL and she survives.

He is survived by his wife of Vergennes, two sons - Darren Doerr and wife Wendy of Du Quoin and Jason Doerr and wife Amy of Murphysboro, one daughter - Angela Pavloff and husband Greg of Du Quoin, and eight grandchildren - Arika Pavloff, Kolton Pavloff, Jenna Doerr, Abigail Doerr, all of Du Quoin, Taylor Franklin, Connor Doerr, Logan Doerr, and Brady Doerr, all of Murphysboro, several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 17, 2008 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Bro. Percy Pavloff and Greg Pavloff officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M., Sunday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to the Christian Fellowship School and will be accepted at the funeral home.
