Wanda Clark

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Wanda L. Clark, 79, of Du Quoin, passed away at 7:51 a.m., Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.

Wanda was a homemaker. She had worked at the Du Quoin Packing Company, Marshall Browning Hospital in Dietary, and at P.R. Mallory. She was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Du Quoin.

She was born February 19, 1929 at Ewing, the daughter of John and Lazana (Isom) King.

She married Joe W. Clark on November 8, 1946 at Pinckneyville, and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2006.

She is survived by four children - Barbara Reidelberger and husband Byford of Pinckneyville, Lee Clark of St. Louis, Mo., Kim Morgan and husband Mike of Pinckneyville, and Joe Clark and Kelly Kellerman of Pinckneyville, sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the Gospel Assembly Church in Du Quoin with Rev. Dennis Fitzsimmons officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin and from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Thursday.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
