Konnie Jean Kuhnert

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Konnie Jean Kuhnert, age 51, of Winkle, IL passed away on Monday, November 3, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Konnie was born on August 7, 1957 in Sparta, IL, a daughter to Donald L. and Donna L. (Harrison) Kuhnert. She worked as an R.N. at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, MO for 18 years. She was a member of Winkle Baptist Church, Winkle, IL and enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, shopping, and vacationing at the beach, and always gave to others.

Survivors include her parents: Don and Donna Kuhnert of Pinckneyville, IL, step-grandmother: Jacky Kuhnert of Pinckneyville, IL, a brother: Dave (Gail) Kuhnert of Pinckneyville, IL, a sister: Terri (Chris) Menz of Chesterfield, MO, ten nieces and nephews: Jason, Josh, and Justin Kuhnert, Kristin Shannon, Kara Baker, Lindsay McIntyre, Fallon Moore, Camille Naidoo, and Alex and Zach Menz, ten great-nieces and great-nephews, and her special caregivers: Cathy, Jim, Zella, Suzie, Shellie, Webber, Diana and many other special friends, and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her sister: Laurie Ann Kuhnert, nephew: Lucas Timothy Moore, and her grandparents: Harmon and Dorothy Kuhnert, and Carl and Carrie Harrison,

Funeral services will be held at Winkle Baptist Church, Winkle, IL on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Guthrie and Rev. Jeff Downard officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at Winkle Baptist Church, Winkle, IL from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Siteman Cancer Center or Swanwick Presbyterian Church.
