Kenneth J. Price

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Kenneth Jerry Price, age 74, of Christopher, passed away October 31, 2008 at 12:10 p.m. at Countryside Manor in Mt.Vernon.

Kenneth was born June 2, 1934 in West Frankfort to William H. Price and Bernice (Thomas) Price. He married Patricia Ann (Ritter) Price on October 30, 1954.

Kenneth worked at the Pierre Marquette Hotel. He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge of Benton.

He is survived by his children, William & Joanna Price of Perkins, Okla.; grandchildren, Jennifer Mari Price, Bradley William Price; brother, Karl & Barbara L. Price of Mt.Vernon; and sister-in-law, Barbara Faye Price of Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronald Price.

Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers as donations to the American Cancer Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.

The memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 4, at 8 p.m. at Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher. Joe Bob Pierce will be officiating.

Mr. Price's wishes were to be cremated.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m.. until the time of the memorial service at 8 p.m. on Tuesday November 4.

Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher is in charge of arrangements.
