Carl Francis Kellerman

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Carl Francis Kellerman, age 74, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 12 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2008 in Harrisburg Medical Center, Harrisburg.

Carl was born on October 1, 1934 in Todds Mill, a son to William J. and Rosa (Ritter) Kellerman. He married Dottie in Mt. Vernon on November 25, 1966 and she survives. Carl was a coal miner for Amax Coal Company, served in the United States Army, was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, and the UMWA. He was an avid collector, fisherman and loved tinkering in his garage.

He is survived by one son: Philip (Leslie) Kellerman of Buford, Ga., two daughters: Paula (Kevin) Linker of Charleston, and Phyllis (Doug) Czerniakowski of Shorewood, five brothers: Rudolph (Ella) Kellerman of Pinckneyville, Wilbert Kellerman of Addieville, Cecil (Pat) Kellerman of St. Genevieve, Mo., Floyd (Daretha) Kellerman of Tamaroa, and Harold (Kay) Kellerman of Pinckneyville, two sisters: Bernice R. Hagene and Marcella Krisby of Pinckneyville, seven grandchildren: Ivy, Ireland and Isaac Kellerman, Nate and Ben Linker, and Jacob and Julie Czerniakowski.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Alfred Kellerman.

Funeral services will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 10 a.m. with Father Bernard Goedde officiating..

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, on Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.

Memorials may be made to St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville.
