Connie S. Deaton

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Connie S. Deaton, 60, of Du Quoin, passed away at 6:10 p.m., Monday, October 20, 2008 at her residence.

Connie was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was born June 26, 1948 at Du Quoin, the daughter of George and Evelyn (Spiller) Little. She married Wayne Deaton on October 17, 1968, at Du Quoin and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, two sons - Rob Deaton and wife Tracie of Carbondale, and Roger Deaton of Du Quoin, four grandchildren - Michael Black, Tori Black, Benjamin Deaton, and Gwynevere Deaton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother - Mike.

Per Mrs. Deaton's request, cremation services were held.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Connie's life at 11 a.m., Friday, October 24, 2008 at the home of Rob and Tracie Deaton in Carbondale. For directions to their home, call 618-549-3126.

Flowers may be sent to the family home in Du Quoin or to the home of Rob and Tracie.
