</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Chester Chamber of Commerce, City of Chester Officials, and the Chester Beautification Commission have initiated a major objective, the "River City Main Street Project". The Chamber will hold a lunch meeting at the Chester Eagles Club on October 21 from noon to 1:00 p.m. to discuss the objectives and plans for this unified project.

The main objective of the River City Main Street Project is to build community support for the creation of a more appealing main street environment, which in turn will attract the pedestrian activity and commercial investment necessary to support the Chester Main Street District.
