RBHS students distinguish themselves

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ These are exciting times at Red Bud High School, according to Principal Sarah Imhoff, as students are distinguishing themselves.

Four golfers competed in the Illinois High School Athletic Association's sectionals, three boys and one girl, Caitlin Dugan. The boys were Stefan Gregson, Jason Doore, and Keith Kipping. Gregson advanc-ed to the state finals.

Then there's Nick Salger, who finished second at the National Tractor Driving Competition.

Last week RBHS hosted a college career night with representatives from 40 colleges on hand to meet with and make presentations to the students. Students from area high schools were also invited to attend, Imhoff said.

The faculty is busying themselves in preparation for the annual parent/teacher meetings on October 30-31, Imhoff said.
