Charles J. Williams
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Charles J. Williams, Sr., 58, of Willisville, passed away at 2:08 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2008, at Pinckneyville Community Hospital in Pinckneyville.
He was born July 12, 1950, in Percy, the son of John Williams and Mildred (Moore) Williams.
Charles married Tina M. Wilson on November 20, 1992, in Tilden. He was of Protestant faith and worked as a construction laborer.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Williams of Willisville; sons, Charles and Rhiannon Williams, Jr., of Tilden, Josh and Tami Williams of Du Quoin, Seth Williams of Du Quoin, John Williams of Willisville, Thomas Williams of Willisville; daughters, Bethany Williams of Willisville, Charlene and Bobby Smith of Tilden, Lynette Koch of Cutler; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; mother and step-father, Mildred and Robert Fulton of Percy; brothers, George and Karen Williams of Steeleville, Dean Williams of Denver, Colo., Arthur Williams of Chester, Bruce and Linda Williams of Percy, John Williams of Central City, Ky.; sisters, Rose and Bill Pogue, Ohio, Marsha and Roger McCann of Campbell Hill, Joyce and Larry Wheeler of Corpus Christi, Texas, Susan Radford of Cutler, Linda Dahn of Willisville, Oletha Williams of Willisville.
He was preceded in death by his father John Williams; one grandson, Gabriel; and one brother, Carl.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Rev. Gregory J. Schultz will be officiating. Burial will be at Percy Village Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 7:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
