CGS Teacher Connie Clendenin pays a debt
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Chester Grade School English teacher and softball coach, Connie Clendenin, is shown immediately following a special hair cut she received at the school gym Friday, September 12. The special hair cut was payment of a debt agreement she made with the CGS Jr. Jacket Baseball Team. Clendenin was trying to motivate the baseball team and stated that if they would win three games in-a-row, she would let student baseball player Boyd Miles cut her hair. Principal Tim Lochhead supervised the debt payment assembly because the team did in fact win three games in-a-row. Clendenin is shown here following the hair cut as members of the baseball and softball teams hold clumps of her hair as payment of the debt. Clendenin was lucky enough to schedule an appointment Saturday, September 13 to have the student's cut trimmed and shaped a bit prior to the return to school Monday.
