Jack D. Westerman, 77, of Ellis Grove, IL

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jack D. Westerman, 77, of Ellis Grove, IL, died September 6, 2008 at Memorial Hospital, Chester, IL.

The son of John F. and Lela (McFadden) Westerman, he was born October 6, 1930 in Chester, IL.

On September 2, 1967, he married Arlene Rinderer at St. Mary&#213;s Catholic Church in Chester.

Jack was a United States Air Force Veteran and had been the Supervisor of the Printing Department at Gilster Mary-Lee Corp. in Chester for over 30 years. He was a member of the Genealogy Society of Southern Illinois and past member of the American Legion in Chester and Steeleville. He was a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, with a Bachelor Degree in Communication.

Survivors include his wife of Ellis Grove, IL; one brother, Marvin (Gennine) Westerman of Ellis Grove; one sister, Dorothy Korando of Chester, IL; two sisters-in-law: Ruth Rinderer of Bennington, KS and Elaine Rinderer of Chester, IL; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers-in-law: Kenneth Korando, Bill Rinderer, and Bob Rinderer; and in-laws, Ralph and Viola Rinderer.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, IL, with Deacon Al DuBois officiating. Burial was the Evergreen Cemetery in Chester. Memorials may be given to Family choice.
