Black Diamond Conference's Pre-Season Poll

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ In terms of the Black Diamond Conference's pre-season poll, Friday night's Eldorado and Elverado-Trico scrum may be for all the marbles - in regards to who finishes in the basement.

Eldorado and Elverado both won just one game last season, and after the latter lost 55-0 to Fairfield last week, the Falcons are the likely underdog.

Elverado is in its first season with Duffy Sanders, who left the Eldorado post to take over a program that right now lists just 19 varsity players.

Sanders, who won this game 20-14 last year along the Eagles' sidelines, says Friday's game should create some enthusiasm.

"Of course, I know a lot of the (Eldorado) kids personally," Sanders said. "Right now, we're going to have some hard knocks. There is a little incentive this week."

Kickoff at Isom Field is set for 7 o'clock.
