Brian Tyler Sweeps the Illinois Dirt
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Bryan Tyler of Parma, Mi. won the Ted Horn Memorial 100 USAC Silver Crown race at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds Sunday night.
Dave Darland finished second, defending Du Quoin champ Shane Cottle was third with Rickey Stenhouse, Jr. and Matt Neely completing the top five.
Cottle, who set fast time in qualifications, led the first 74 laps before Tyler zoomed to the front.
Also Sunday, heat races for the Bill Oldani Memorial UMP races were held. Taking checkered flags were Brian Shaw of Robinson, Curt Rhodes from Taylorville and Jackson, Tn. driver Jonathon Ray Rowan.
The finals will be held prior to Monday's Southern Illinois Federated Auto Parts 100 ARCA Super-Car race.
