Eva Louise Lee

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Eva Louise Lee, age 99, of Tamaroa, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 6:20 a.m. in Pinckneyville Health Care Center, Pinckneyville.

Eva was born on April 20, 1909 in Perry County, a daughter to Sterling and Louise (Hopp) Marlow. On November 27, 1930, she married George Lee in Cutler, he preceded her in death on October 6, 1985. Eva was a homemaker, loved quilting and canning fruits and vegetables and was a member of Holts Prairie Baptist Church, Pinckneyville.

Survivors include two sons: James Richard Lee (Shirley Zoller, Friend), Ronald Lavern Lee, both of Tamaroa, a brother: Carl Marlow of Pinckneyville, a sister: Gladys Seibert of Pinckneyville, a sister-in-law: Alma Marlow of Du Quoin, four grandchildren, unknown great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and many dear nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers: Sherman, Albert and Charles Marlow, four sisters: Mary Craig, LaVina Freeman, Hazel Lee and Kathryn Eldridge.

Funeral services will be held in Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, on Saturday, August 30, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Collin Hirsch officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, on Saturday, August 30, from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Holts Prairie Baptist Church, Pinckneyville.
