Chester High School Dance Team fundraiser
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Chester High School Dance Team members will hold a fundraiser Dance Camp for young dancers ages 3 - 12 during the week of September 8th - 13th 2008. During this week the dancers will participate in games, dancing, and fun. The theme this year is: "Rock Out the Show and Dance" at Chester High School.
Whether you dream of being in the spot light on a big stage or just love to imagine yourself being a friend with Hannah, the CHS Dance camp will make you feel like a real dancing star! Through the main movements of the jazz technique and some hip-hop influences the students will experience the process of creating of an extraordinary dance show! Juice/Snack provided. Come and applaud your dancer's achievements. Bring your cameras!
The Chester High School Dance Team consists of 22 members: Senior Co-Captains: Brandy Marchildon, Staci Jany, Samantha Schmerbauch, and Amy Tressler. Junior Co-Captain: Megan Atchison. Senior Dancers include: Erin Eggemeyer and Angela Petrowske. Juniors include: Hillary Best, Bridget Brown, Cori Cowan, Sydney McBurney, Brandy Stewart, Lacey Willison and Rachel Young. Sophomore dancers include: Laura Liefer, Britney Schroeder, and Jillian Yankey. Freshman dancers include: Morgan Colvis, Shelby Long, Kristen Maes, Taylor Marks, and Jenna Wingerter. These Dance Team Members thank you for your support!
The Dancers will spend the week learning dance routines, playing games, having snacks and fun. They are then invited to perform during the pre-game activities with the Band and the Dance Team on Saturday evening, September 13th at the game.
The Chester High School Dance Team uses the money from this fund raiser to help with competition costs, dance supplies, and uniform costs. The Dancers and the volunteer sponsors greatly appreciate your support and we look forward to seeing all of you, "Rock Out the Show and Dance" this year!
