Accident at Southtown Shopping Center

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Du Quoin police were called to a 7:30 a.m. accident Thursday at the Southtown Shopping Center. Eric Graham of Du Quoin, driving a Ford pickup truck, was southbound on Rt. 51 and had the green light. Daniella Hewitt of Christopher was northbound on Rt. 51 and had the same green light. Hewitt suddenly turned west to enter the Kroger parking lot and struck Graham's truck in corner on the driver's side. She was taken to Marshall Browning Hospital and was to be released shortly. Graham was not injured.
