James K. Dunn

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ James K Dunn, 54, passed away on March 13, 2008 at the Laurels, Mount Vernon, Ohio.

He was born in Pinckneyville on July 24, 1953 to Harry and Nina (Burns) Dunn. Jim graduated from Pinckneyville Community High School and attended Southern Illinois University where he was a member of the Marching Salukis and ROTC. Before moving to Mount Vernon, he was an executive chef with the Morrison/ Picadilly restaurant chain, and lived throughout the south and middle west. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and his many friends. He will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and his ready smile.

He is survived by his brother; Giles Tom (Peggy) Dunn of Danville, Ohio; his aunts, Alice Burns, and Margaret Dunn of Pinckneyville, IL, his niece; Laura Hindman of Altamonte Springs, FL, 3 grandnieces and a grandnephew, and his special friends; Larry and Jeanne Phillips of Danville.

A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Pinckneyville, on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Jim Barnett officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville.
