Addie Mae Hubler
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Addie Mae Hubler, age 95, passed away at the home of her daughter, Gladys Dempsay at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2008.
Addie Mae was born August 29, 1912 in Rice to Ira and Myrtle (Hill) Jones. She was a life-long resident of Pinckneyville in the community of Rice. She was a member of the Concord Baptist Church. Addie enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and quilting. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a seamstress and retired from the garment factory in Pinckneyville after many years of service. Addie married Edward G. Hubler on April 11, 1930. He preceded her in death on February 20, 1967.
She is survived by one son, Edward D. Hubler and wife, Barbara; two daughters, Anna Houghland and husband Dean, and Gladys Dempsay and husband, Clyde all of Pinckneyville; 15 grandchildren, Ron Dempsay, Carol Pendergrass, Randy Dempsay, Diane Davis, Karen Sue Sanzenbacher, Lisa Dempsay, Kevin Dempsay, Debi Moore, John Houghland, Joni Leininger, Jeff Dempsay, Sherri Clark, Terri Kuhnert, Keith Hubler, and Kerri Konkel; 35 great-grandchildren, Lance Dempsay, Tia Ginter, Megan Deckard, Austin, Shelby and Jenna Dempsay, Kristin Billingsley, Kyle Davis, Alex and Olivia Sanzenbacher, Tyler, Tanner, Conner, and Haley Dempsay, Shawn and Ryan Moore, Stacey Perdue, Justin Todd, Abby, Sarah, and Josh Leininger, Jennifer Brady, Chad and Chase Dempsay, Tara Carter, Breana Hodges, Alissa Clark, Jana, Dustin, Allie and Taylor Kuhnert, Kaleb Hubler, Addie, Gunnar, and Ivy Konkel; and 8 great-great grandchildren, Nolan, Paxton, and Camden Dempsay, Evan and Mason Ginter, Alexandria Deckard, Alyson Perdue, Claire Brady; one sister, Emma Magerkurth; and three brothers, Jack Jones, Bob Jones, and Ira Jones; and many friends at the Manor at Mason Woods.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Virginia Dempsay; her parents; brothers, Earl Jones, Amos Jones, Roy Jones; and sisters, Anna Hubler, Lenora Wiles, Ollie Thomas, Pauline Willis, Irene Mize, Evelyn Scott.
A visitation will be on Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a service immediately following in celebration of her life at the Concord Baptist Church in Rice. Officiating are grandsons, Randy Dempsay and Skip Leininger. Burial will be at Concord Cemetery.
