</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Michael J. "Isaac" Jungewaelter, 44, of Chester, IL, died Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Saint Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
The son of Clifford "Butch" and Donna Jean (Schwent) Jungewaelter, he was born December 19, 1963 in Red Bud, IL.
On May 16, 2008, he married Brenda (Diercks) Weber in Destin, FL.
Isaac was a Dock Foreman at the Knight Hawk Coal Dock for 10 years and was also Co-Owner of Jungewaelter, Inc. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chester; the Knights of Columbus #3790, Chester, and Operating Engineer Local #520. He was the Democrat Committee Vice Chairman and Palestine Precinct Committeeman. He was a member of the Chester Boat Club (an avid boater who loved life), and member of Chester Eagles Club #3552.
Survivors include his wife of Chester, IL; parents, Clifford "Butch" and Jean Jungewaelter of Chester, IL; step-daughter, Bethany Weber of Chester, IL; three uncles-Gary (Carolyn) Schwent of Chester, Ron (Margie) Schwent of Fruitland, MO, and Terry (Beverly) Jungewaelter of Chester; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, mother-in-law, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents-Earl and Margaret Jungewaelter & Welton and Frances Schwent; and step-grandmother, Myrtle Schwent.
A Funeral Mass was held Monday, August 4, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chester, IL with Father Gene Wojcik officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Chester.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School.
