Roberta Morgan

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Roberta J. Morgan, 68, of Kevil, Ky., formerly of Ava, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at 10:55 a.m. in Western Baptist Hospital, Paducah.

She was born March 21, 1940, to Walter Golda and Golda Smith in Ava. She attended schools in the Ava area and was a member of Nine Mile Baptist Church in Du Quoin.

She married Lester Dwight Morgan in August of 1957. They shared a life together for 26 years and had four daughters before Lester died on Sept. 22, 1983.

She enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening.

She is survived by her daughters, Zella Jean Dorroh of Du Quoin, Bertie Ringstaff and her husband Mark of Kevil, Ky., Donna Wynn and her husband Ricky of Ledbetter, Ky., and Cindy Green and partner Ronda Lickey of Du Quoin; seven grandchildren, Steven Coleman, Jamie Morgan, Eric Wynn, Taylor Morgan, Rose Dorroh, Cindy Dorroh, and Andrew Dorroh; two great-grandsons; nieces and nephews; and a sister, Janet Smith of Murphysboro. She is also survived by her boyfriend, Lee Burkley, and her beloved pug, Coco.

She was preceded in death her parents; her husband, Lester; and two brothers, Donnie and Melvin Smith.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 29, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home in Paducah.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the funeral following the visitation.

Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter, Ky.
