Orval Moore

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Orval Moore, 71, of Pekin, Ill., formerly of Du Quoin, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2008, at the Pekin Memorial Hospital in Pekin.

Orval had worked as a drywall finisher in construction. He was a U.S. Marine veteran. He was of the Protestant faith.

He was born July 11, 1936, at Du Quoin, the son of James and Dora (Beard) Moore.

He is survived by two sons, Daniel Moore of Inglewood, Colo., and Michael Moore of Willcox, Ariz.; two brothers, Floyd Moore of Du Quoin and Harvey Kenneth Moore of Calvert City, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and four sisters.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. C.L. McKinnies officiating.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Elkville Cemetery at Elkville.
