Christina Sharpe
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Christina Jo House Sharpe, 57, of Mazatlan, Mexico, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008, in Mazatlan, where she retired.
She was born April 11, 1950, in Watseka, Ill., to Charles E. and Eleanor Taylor House.
Sharpe moved to Cape Girardeau in July 1960, graduating from Central High School in 1967. She lived in Minneapolis almost 30 years and graduated with honors from University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts. She was an avid outdoors person with a love of all animals, flowers and trees.
She was of the Methodist belief and belonged to Centenary United Methodist Church as a child.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Eleanor and Reece Brown of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Scott (Patti) House of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Jan Carron (Jeff Davis) of Denver; a nephew, John Charles (Traci Telander) Carron and their children Calen and Abigael Carron of Boulder, Colo.; a step-sister, Debra (Scott) Carey of Albuquereque, N.M.; an aunt, Wanda House Taylor; an uncle, La Vernbe Taylor of Tamaroa; stemother, Dorothy House; many cousins; and many close friends.
She was preceeded in death by her father, Charles E. House; grandparents, Lilly Heape and Vallie House of Tamaroa, Harry H. and Ruth Church Taylor of Peoria.
Searby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements at a later date.
