Du Quoin Not Happy with Comcast

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Commissioner Rex Duncan said Monday he is fielding dozens of complaints from Comcast cable subscribers about higher rates and fewer channel offerings--particularly the channels they seem to love like Soapnet and the Game Show channel.

Duncan asked city attorney Aaron Atkins, the mayor and council to revisit the city's franchise agreement to see if anything can be done to restore the programming and stabilize pricing.

The council meeting did air over Comcast Monday night for the first time in several meeting.
