Stingrays swim short-handed at Millstadt

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The overall score was 407-230, a 177-point difference. In spite of the score and subsequent loss, the brave Stingray swimmers earned 23 first-place finishes, 27 second-place finishes, 15 third-place finishes, 13 fourth-place finishes, 18 fifth-place finishes and 12 sixth-place finishes.

The young Stingrays do their best in each event and compete with the highest intensity level. The area that hurts the Stingrays the most is the fact that they do not have enough swimmers in every age group category. There-fore it is impossible for them to earn all of the points possible in each race. Teams that compete against the Stingrays can get points to advance their overall score merely by having swimmers to complete in the events.

In spite of the handicap that faces the Stingrays each and every meet, the swimmers that are available do their best, compete their hardest and continue to improve each meet. If they all stick with the team down the road, Chester will have a dominating team in years to come.
